The Soviet War Cemetery Foundation is a cultural ANBI (public benefit organization) and is largely run by the efforts of an enthusiastic and friendly group of dozens of volunteers. Our volunteers help with commemorations and events, support the collection and research, and take care of administrative or practical tasks. They are hosts or hostesses in our museum, work as translators, tour guides, photographers, cameramen, copywriters or designers… and much more!
What do you contribute?
- Strong together: volunteers have unique knowledge and skills that help the Foundation in pursuing its social mission;
- Local connection: because of the strong ties that many of our volunteers have with the local community, they help to put the Foundation, the Soviet War Cemetery and the museum on the map;
- Social impact: by volunteering with us, you contribute to greater support for important but forgotten stories that need to be passed on for generations to come.
