Accessibility and facilities
At the Soviet War Cemetery Experience, we believe it is important that everyone feels welcome and can experience the museum in a pleasant way. That is why we have made sure that the museum is also accessible to people with physical disabilities. This way, everyone can enjoy a comfortable and inspiring visit without any effort!
Multilingual
All our presentations are in Dutch, English and Russian. When booking your tickets, choose a time slot with the desired language. During the introductory film and the VR experience, only one language is shown at a time. If your group needs different languages, choose different time slots. The introductory film and VR experience together last less than half an hour. You can visit the museum spaces together.
Visual impairment or epilepsy
For people with a visual impairment or epilepsy, the Virtual Reality experience may not be suitable. The VR experience can also be followed as a ‘normal’ film on a large screen.
Wheelchairs
Our museum is accessible to visitors who have difficulty walking or use a walking aid. Are you unable to stand for long periods of time? Don’t worry, we have wheel chairs that you can obtain at the information desk, without having to reserve them. This way, we ensure that everyone feels comfortable during their visit!
Aid dogs
Aid dogs with a harness are very welcome in the museum! You do not need to register them in advance, so they can simply come in with you. Other animals must remain outside.
