Address and accessibility
The Soviet War Cemetery Experience is easily accessible by car. On a weekday, there is a bus at least once an hour. The museum is located at Vlooswijkseweg 1b next to Restaurant Zuiver in Leusden, just outside Amersfoort. Plan your route to the museum here.
By public transport
From Amersfoort Central Station, take bus 19 (weekdays only) which leaves at least once an hour for Rusthof. Get off at the bus stop Begraafplaats (cemetery) Rusthof in Leusden and then walk 350 metres via the Dodeweg to the museum. With an OV-bike, the museum is about a twelve-minute ride from Amersfoort Central Station. Plan your journey in advance via 9292.nl.
By car
You can park across from our museum, on the access road to the Maranatha cemetery on the Dodeweg. From there it is less than a 1-minute walk to the Soviet War Cemetery Experience.
Parking is free.
There are disabled parking spaces right next to the museum on the Vlooswijkseweg.
From Utrecht
- Follow the A28 towards Amersfoort/Zwolle and take exit 5 towards Maarn (N227). Turn left at the traffic lights. After 600 metres, at the next traffic lights, turn right onto Dodeweg. After 250 metres, turn left to the parking spaces at the access road to the Maranatha cemetery. The Soviet War Cemetery Experience is located on the other side of Dodeweg.
From Amsterdam and Apeldoorn (A1), Zwolle (A28)
- From the Hoevelaken junction, follow the A28 towards Utrecht. Take exit 5 and turn left at the traffic lights onto the N227 towards Maarn/Doorn. Stay in the left lane. After approximately 130 metres, turn left onto Dodeweg. After 250 metres, you will find the parking spaces at the access road to the Maranatha cemetery on the left.

Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
(during the week we are open for groups in the morning by appointment)
Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
